We offer Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) packages, where we optimise your website each month for maximum search engine exposure.
Each page is optimised carefully and, where necessary, submitted to important directories and other websites. Search Engine Optimisation requires modifications to your pages’ text to ensure particular keywords feature prominently within the text. You will be continually updated with details of major changes we’ve made to give you the opportunity to say ‘no’ to anything we do.
Initially, and throughout the optimisation period; we will discuss your search engine strategy with you, covering things like your target market, other languages and which keywords you feel your business is associated with.
Search Engine Optimisation is charged in 3 month blocks payable in advance. We also require websites be managed by cityofcairns.com in order for us to optimise them, and if an exorbitant amount of time is required to ‘stabilise’ the website before optimisation can proceed, the setup charge may be higher.
Note: The setup charge is waived for website development by cityofcairns.com, as we ensure every website we design is suitable for Search Engine Optimisation and thus need very little initial work.

These prices are for Cairns-based websites that target location inclusive keywords. For websites outside of the Cairns area we quote individually depending on keyword competitiveness, and website size. For websites requiring a higher level of online promotion, we have a Website Marketing package available which includes a full Search Engine Optimisation service, link negotiation, newsgroup and email marketing and other forms of online advertising.
We can also provide services such as website facelifts; where we take your existing content but provide an aesthetically appropriate and structurally sound graphic design concept for your website. Please contact us regarding a quote for any services not listed here.
Please note that our prices cover web design costs only: domain registration (purchasing yourname.com or yourname.com.au) and website hosting (the physical storage for your website) are services offered by other businesses. We can recommend and work with other businesses who provide these services.
