Saint Mary's by the Sea

In 1986, Saint Mary's was the only church left in Port Douglas and in danger of being demolished. Now, Saint Mary's by the Sea is a popular venue for weddings used by couples from all over the world. The church has a huge glass altar window which offers breathtaking views of the Coral Sea and rainforest clad mountains, stained glass windows, traditional wooden pews and a church bell.

Cotters Market by the Sea. Port Douglas' local market day which brings together our local community of free traders, artists and farmers alike. Held every Sunday at Anzac Park from early in the morning until early-afternoon, Cotters Market is a ritual meeting place for locals and a must for anyone on the hunt for either a bargain or something very special.
